Charles C. Green, Sr.

Charles Cornelius Green,Sr., was born in Warrenton, VA on June 9, 1931.  He proudly served 23 years in the USAF retiring as a Technical Sgt. Aircraft Electrical Repair Technician.  Charles and his family lived in Japan and England for several years returning in 1970 to complete assignments in six states in the US.  He retired in 1975, moving to Seattle in 1977 where he worked for Associated Grocers for 18 years.  Following his second retirement, he worked an additional 8 years as a school crossing guard.

Charles passed with family by his side on November 14, 2019 at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years Elnora Green; children Sharon, Charles Jr. and Tyrone Green; grandchildren Phillip and Demetria Riggins, LaTasha Green; and great granddaughter Kianni Riggins.

A rare individual, Charles Green will be greatly missed by family in Virginia, Washington DC, North Carolina, Las Vegas and Los Angeles
