Dorothy Nell Gentry

Dorothy Nell (maiden Charles) Gentry also known as Ohma & Aunt Nell, was born August 26,1946 in Seattle, WA ,to her beloved parents her father, Leonard Charles Sr and her mother Vera lee King, Dorothy grew up in Austin, Texas with her favorite Aunt Stella , where she attended elementary up til high school , after that she moved to Germany with her mother and step father Hugh King , a little after that she moved to New York, where she then met Alfred H. Gentry, then they moved to Philadelphia and later got married on March 8, 1972, on October 15, 1972 they welcomed their beautiful daughter Danielle Ayana Gentry. Dorothy then moved back to Seattle, Wa where she worked for Middle College High School as a administrative assistant, and later left Middle College to take care of her older sister Barbara. Dorothy was a loving smart individual and can cook her butt off, yes, you can say she was the best cook. She was very family oriented and could light up a room with her beautiful smile and laughter she had a heart pure as gold what most will say. Dorothy will be remembered as a happy and big hearted women, a loving mother, grandma, aunt and friend. Dorothy is proceeded in death by her parents Leonard Charles Sr, Vera Lee King, step father Hugh King, her siblings (sister) John Elsie Miles , (sister ) Barbara Charles, and (brother) Leonard Charles Jr. Dorothy leaves behind her daughter Danielle Ayana Gentry , grandson John Henry Ingram V , great granddaughter & grandson Harmony Ayana Ingram and John'Pierre Anthony Ingram. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A private service was held.
