“Lord, as we grieve over the loss of our dear James and struggle to understand Your purpose in taking him so soon, we give thanks for his life and all that he was to us. We weep as we recall our special moments with James. We shed a tear for every time we say “James is” and not “James was”. We cry for all that could have been with James still in our lives. We pray that our tears and sorrow soon give way to smiles and even laughter as we fondly remember our beloved James   and may we find comfort in the certainty that he is basking in the light of Your grace in eternal peace. Amen.”
