Jimmy was born February 25, 1953 to George and Margie King.He graduated from Garfield High School in 1971, and attended Seattle Central Community College. Jimmy was raised in Zion United House of Prayer under the leadership of the late Bishop Eugene Drayton. He later joined Holy Temple Evangelist Center Bishop Willie McClain.
By divine inspiration Jimmy has written several books. Jimmy’s area of specialties was his outreach ministries. He was the Artistic Director and Founder of God’s Teeth Ministries International. He was an Motivational Speaker. Spiritual Advisor, Prayer Warrior and a Self-Publisher/Author. He is author of The Rose
Jimmy had a Newsletter in Prison that reached over 180 correctional facilities around the country. Jimmy loved sharing the Word of God. One of Jimmy’s greatest desire was for his family to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
He was an Icon of Seattle, people young, old...everyone and anywhere you went they knew him or knew of him.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father George King, his mother, Missionary Margie King-Richards, stepfather, Reverend Fleming Richards, Grandmother, Elizabeth Mae Perry, three brothers, Jerry, Johnny and Kenneth King. His son, Jimiko L. King.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Faith Bethea-King and her four children. His siblings, Peggy Jackson-Williams, Diane McClain (Bishop Willie McClain), Ricky Richards, Regina King-Valentine (Keith), Sister in Law, Floretta King, uncles-Allen, Ray & Blue Perry, Aunts- Helen Perry, Eunice Forest (Tyree). His Children-Jimmy King Jr (JJ)., Quiana, Lastasha, Jinetta, Jimmel, Jimmy II, Jimiko-Jerry, Jameka, Jimesha, Ja’maria, Jameko Green, Ginte Ford, Salvadore Burden, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, His two special cousins, Michael & Retina Perry. Many more cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
