Pearlie Lee Miller was born to Sylvester and Sarah Carlisle on March 4,1940 in Butler, Alabama. She attended Salem Baptist Church. She graduated from Choctaw County Training School, in Lisman, Alabama. After graduating high school, she married Tommie Lee Mitchell before moving to Seattle, WA and to this union six children were born. She began her career at Bellevue Community College where she was a dedicated employee for over 25 years. Some years later she divorced, Pearlie continued her career path and later met and married Franklin Miller in 1981. In her spare time, she loved to go to Emerald Downs and Muckleshoot Casino. She always wore a smile and a secret winning hand. She enjoyed cooking dinner for her family.
Pearlie was proceeded in death by her parents Sylvester and Sarah Carlisle, her husband Franklin Miller, three brothers JB Van Buren, LC and RC Carlisle. Two sisters Lila Carlisle and Mattie Osborne. She leaves to cherish her memory one brother Henterson Carlisle Sr., two sisters Mary Shipman and Lula Carlisle, all of Seattle, Washington. She also leaves her best friend of over 61 years Mamie Hopkins of Cleveland, Ohio. She also leaves five daughters Debbie Carlisle (JR), Sarah Singn, Sharon Mitchell, Terri Saunders and Michelle Mitchell. She also leaves one son Kevin Mitchell. All of Seattle, Washington. Nine grandchildren Charnita, Tommie, Anthony (Aline), Brandon, Kiara, Kianna, Treyvon, Nakeshia and Jamarie all of Seattle, Washington. Nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
