Shawn K. Reber, formerly of the Monterey Peninsula, died in Bremerton, Washington after a valiant battle with heart disease. Shawn passed away peacefully at home with his wife, Latchmee, by his side. He was 56 years old.
Although a recent resident of Bremerton, Shawn was born in Carmel, CA. He was a well-known massage therapist and limousine driver for many years at resorts, hotels and spas all across the Monterey Peninsula. He leaves a legacy of excellence and reliability in the career he loved and will be remembered by clients and friends alike for his kind and sensitive nature. Shawn was loved and will be profoundly missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by parents, Dr. Donald and Mrs. Elaine Reber, and a brother, Brent Reber. Shawn is survived by his wife Latchmee (Singh) Reber and her children, Melanie Schultz (Sacramento, CA) and Debbie Bomar (Bremerton, WA). He is also survived by his five siblings: Pam Grange (Orem, UT), Janice Edwards (Oxnard, CA), Dr. Mark Reber (Prunedale, CA), Dr. Douglas Reber (Bakersfield, CA) and Christine Graham (Colorado Springs, CO). Shawn was also a beloved “Uncle Shawn” to a host of step-grandkids, nephews & nieces.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Shawn’s life at an undetermined date in Carmel, CA.
