Torrance J. Cummings

Torrance Tremaine Todd II (Cummings) was born February 13th, 2000, in Seattle, Wa, to Torrance Todd and Janelle O’Cain (Dickerson).  Torrance walked into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 1st, 2019 at the age of 19.  Torrance was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Richard Grundy; his paternal great grandparents Tommy and Shirley Williamson; his maternal great grandparents Milton and Hazel Kemp and Theo and Doretha Dickerson. 

Torrance was an avid sports fan and naturally very athletic. He played soccer, basketball, baseball, lacrosse and track while attending Our Lady of Fatima School (Magnolia, Wa). He also played Football at O’Dea High School and Ballard High School (Seattle, Wa). When he wasn't  playing sports, he was attending various games as a spectator: Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, LA Dodgers, Seattle Mariners and of course our 2019 MLS Champions The Seattle Sounders. Torrance also enjoyed spending time vacationing with his parents, he had the opportunity to visit DisneyLand, Los Angeles, Washington D.C, Arizona, Washington & Oregon Pacific Ocean Coast and also Hawaii.  He also enjoyed Japanese Anime, Hip Hop Music, Playing Video Games and Social Media Torrance or affectionately known as “TT” to many family members, cared about people in the purest form. Most importantly he cared about his family. What you saw, was always what you got with him. He was affectionate, humble, easy-going, and passionate about what the future had in store for him.

Torrance is survived by his parents, Torrance Todd , Janelle O’Cain and step father Master James O’Cain; his adoptive parents Andy Cummings and Kathleen Cochran. He is also survived by his siblings: Charles Gray, Master J. O’Cain Jr., Jaleo O’ Cain, Kiara Todd, Torrin Todd, Tor’Zhae Todd (Cummings), Jz’Zhane O’Cain, and Jevaeh O’Cain. His grandparents Rita Todd, Delores Andrews and Kenneth Dickerson. His Uncles: Michael Foxx, Edward Kemp and Kenny Jr.  Aunts: Jonita Foxx-Okezie, Talia Johnson, Dolonna Todd, Carla Todd, LuRae Handling, Kenetra Kemp, Nicole O’Cain, Kermisha Dickerson. As well as his beloved Siberian Husky Apollo. And a host of many other relatives and friends
