Al was born in Seattle, Washington on July 21, 1949 to the union of Lonnie and Joanna Kendrick. Al was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, camp, cook and collect guns. Al graduated from Rainier Beach high school in 1968 and worked for Metro as a Transit Operator for many years until his retirement. After his retirement Al lived in Thailand where he did missionary and charitable work that he was very proud of. Al is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Joanna Kendrick, sister Anna Mae Duckworth and sister Diane Kendrick. Al is survived by his sons, Al Kendrick, Jr. and Christopher Kendrick, Granddaughters Jazmyne Kendrick and Krishae Kendrick, Great Granddaughter Azai Kendrick, sisters Alberta Sayles and Vivian McClinton, and brother Thurman Kendrick (Lorease), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Al was a Godly man of wisdom who was always willing to share his knowledge and life stories. He is greatly missed.
