Alzie Tracy Slade was born April 21, 1969 to Gene R. and Clarice L. Slade. He accepted Christ an early age while attending Mt Baker Baptist Church.
Alzie was known as “Tracy” throughout the community. Alzie attended Leschi Elementary, Washington Middle, and graduated from Garfield High School-Class of 1986.
Soon after high school, Alzie joined the Army Reserves. Following his time of service, he held an array of construction jobs. He also volunteered around the community, specifically for the Indian Center, several local food banks, and The Saigon Deli.
Whenever you saw Alzie, he was known to greet you with a smile, a joke, and offer his help whenever he could. Alzie was a loving dad and was cherished deeply by his siblings and family.
Preceding his death are grandparents Cerra and Maude Slade, Gladys Mapps and Mack Lee Holbert; siblings Eugene Holbert, Theresa Lee, and Margene Slade-Stenson.
He leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his life; father and mother Gene R. Slade and Clarice L. Slade; two daughters ZaDeja (Kyle) Slade-Jones and Ashlyn Slade; four sisters Rossia (Clifford) Avery of Texas, Mildred (Elmer) Slade-Givens, Marilyn Slade-Scott, Constance (Oliver) Clay all of Seattle; three brothers Mervin, Carlton, and Lugene Slade all of Seattle; two aunts, four uncles and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
