Brother Alvin Frederick was born on March 24,1934 in Covington, Louisiana. Our Lord peacefully ushered him to eternal rest on March 11, 2025.

Al was one of eleven children born to the late Henry Sr and Josephine Frederick.  Alvin was affectionately known as "Buck " to all the offspring from that union and the many friends who came to know and love him. Alvin and Vialee were united in holy matrimony in July,1961. Alvin’s journey in life was accompanied by his loving wife, Vialee, he was a devoted husband and a loving father.

In 1952, Al graduated from Covington Rosenwald High School. After graduation, he served honorably in the US Armed Forces.  After being honorably discharged from the Army, he attended Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was recruited by the Boeing Company and relocated to Seattle, WA.  Al had a passion for sports, he served as CAYA football coach. His influence extended beyond the game—he taught young athletes the values of perseverance, teamwork, and kindness.

His impact on the lives of his loved ones will be profoundly felt and remembered. Al’s generosity and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Under the leadership of Pastor Henry Jenkins, Miracle Temple C.O.G.I.C, Al served as Pastor Mentor, Sunday School teacher, Treasurer, YPWW teacher and worked with the youth arranging various activities at church and away that appealed to youth while encouraging them to be faithful followers.
