Carlos Trevor Brown was born September 1st, 1966 to the union of Charlie Thompson and Patricia Hopkins. His father passed before he was born and mother re-married John Hopkins who raised him as his own. They later gave Carlos two amazing brothers, Jamaal and Armand hopkins.
Carlos met Tanya Johnson and her daughter Veronica in April, 1991. Started their beautiful journey together by adding two more children, Onjel in 1995 and Rahmel in 1999. In 2016 he was blessed with a granddaughter Nyeli skye
Carlos had gifted hands. He was an artist at heart and had a passion for drawing portraits. Not only did he have gifted hands but he had a pure heart. He enjoyed being of importance in others lives. He has changed many people for the better. Some say if it wasn’t for him they don’t know where they would be. He positively touched everyone he met with his knowledge and wisdom. He later started his own non-profit organization called “ Force Of Hope “, where he would house recovering addicts and give them all the tools and help they needed on their journey to a better life.
Black history and spirituality was important to carlos, he instilled the importance of black history and spirituality into his children and the love of his life.

Carlos is preceded in death by his birth father Charlie thompson, mother Patricia Hopkins, father John Hopkins. Survivors left to cherish his memory; Daughters, Veronica Johnson, Onjel Johnson and son, Rahmel Johnson, granddaughter Nyeli Skye Johnson mother of his children Tanya Johnson, brothers Jamaal and Armand Hopkins, cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of other family and friends.
