Carmen D. Mendez

Carmen D. Mendez was born March 30, 1927 on San Miguel Island located in the province of Panama City Panama. She is the mother of 4 sons (Fernando, Luis AKA "Lucho", Gustavo and Nestor) and 1 daughter (Melin). She was known as “Mama or Grandma” to everyone! She displayed the most nurturing and loving affection to her family and every person who had the pleasure of meeting her. Her faith in God made her a strong, resilient woman in her journey through life. She was a living example of hope to others. Carmen is survived by three of her children, nieces, and nephews, all of her grand, great and great great grandchild and a number of other loving relatives and close friends. The family wishes to thank ALL of those who cared for her during her last days and everyone who loved her!
