Catherine Elizabeth Simpson was born on October 15, 1933 to Elmer and Willie Ann Simpson in Alvarado, Texas.
Her family moved to Wichita, Kansas when she was a teenager, she attend school and made friends, as life pass by she became a mother an raised her family.
There were various jobs she held, she was very proud of getting training to be a mechanic at Cessena Aircraft Company, installing windows in twin engine jets.
She loved cooking and trying new recipes and watching TV shows, and then came Bingo and she never looked back.
She had her circle of friends and there were many as her children grew up and moved away to Seattle, Washington she followed and lived here for 25 years.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, four brothers, son Gerald M. English, grandson Marc Sanchez English and great-grandson Michael D. Summer Jr.
Catherine leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Paulette Moore (Terry) and Sherry K. Johnson (David); sons, Terry Carney (Pearl) and Brian K. English; grandchildren, Mar’ee Woodberry, LaTosha English, Catrena Prasad (Amar), Terry A. Moore (Monica), DeMario Carney (Amy), Cameron Simpson, Dominick Carney (Annabelle), Michael Moore (Cynthia) and Damien Carney; great-grandchildren, Laylani Woodberry, Ti’Tianna Haley, Sasha English, Marc English Jr., Malachi English, Marius Jackson, Brylon Young and Navia Prasad; Joyce Holland her niece that called her twice or more a month and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
