Curtis Marie Williams

On Monday April 25th 2022, Marie passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends at
Swedish Medical Center First Hill in Seattle Washington.
Marie Williams affectionately known as “Bruce” was born in Waco Texas on August 21st 1945 to
Leola (Majors) Satchell, She grew up in the Satin Community.
Marie was an only child reared by her maternal grandparents Curtis & Carrie Majors, along with
uncle Prentice and aunt Mary Gladys Majors as well as two first cousins Prentice Jr. and Robert
Lee Majors.
Marie was educated through the Satin School System with her graduating from Downville High
School class of 1964, she went on to attend Paul Quinn College for two years and then moved
to Seattle in the mid 60’s. She met and married Donald Ray Williams and to this union they had
two children Chelsea Elise Williams and Jabrille Hashim Williams.
Marie was preceded in death by her mother Leola Majors Satchell, daughters Regina Lynn
Majors and Chelsea Elise Williams. She is survived by her one and only son Jabrille Hashim
Williams with a host of cousins and relatives.
