Danny R. Finister

Danny Ray Finister was born February 8, 1949 in Bremerton, Washington to the union of the late Abbott and Dorothy (Green) Finister. He departed this life March 22, 2024 in Tacoma, Washington.

Danny was educated in the Seattle Public Schools graduating from Garfield High School. A consummate entertainer Danny enjoyed music in any form from attending concerts to jamming “old school” music while barbecuing. He enjoyed his family and friends and will be sorely missed.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his daughter Danielle Finister and siblings, Patricia, Gwendolyn and Kenneth.

Danny leaves to cherish his memory his sister Wanda Williams. Nieces: Letitia London, Cyrenthia Robinson and LaTonya Williams. Special friends Carl Kilgore and Eli Curtis-Smith, Jr. extended family in Louisiana, the Finister family of Seattle and his many friends.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held at a later date.
