De'Andre Shelby Hunter

DeAndre Shelby Hunter was born on June 12, 1986 and was called home to rest on June 1, 2023.

DeAndre was raised  in Kent, Washington where he received his formal education with the Kent School District, attending East Hill Elementary, Sequoia Middle School, Kent-Meridian & Kentwood High School and SVI for Computer Science. 

Most people would describe DeAndre as a kind, caring, sweet, big-hearted person with a great smile, who loved his family, a great brother and a mama’s boy! He enjoyed sports and could be found at TLC Skating Rink every weekend. He was also an amazing cook. I mean have you ever tasted his food? He was open to and found love. He was a good friend and would do anything for you. Just ask his best friend Tay!

He leaves behind his mother, Michelle and Desmond. His siblings Nichelle, Desra, Trey, James Jr. and Darion, Grandmother Carol. Nephews Adawnte and Caviar; Nieces

Dyammi, Anita, Ace, Destinee and Daniah. Aunts Dora and Tanisha. Cousins Michael, Marco, Charles, Hunter, Kvante and Elijah. And a host of extended family, friends and Queenie.

He is preceded in death by Granny Cece, great-grandparents Arthur and Erville and Donna, aunt Erville, great-aunt Linda, Lori and Lemar, great-uncle Kenneth, Mark and Edward and great-cousin Rebecca and Robert.
