Derric was born November 30, 1959 in Seattle, Washington to Ruby Isom and Claude John Nonnette.
Ruby married Dennis David, Jr. on January 21, 1967 and a baby girl, DeAndrea, was born to their union. Derric loved his baby sister, enjoyed taking care of her and watching her grow-up.
Derric attended Smith Bible Academy during his early school years. He then went on to attend Seattle Public Schools and graduated from Franklin High School in 1978, in Seattle Washington. He attending martial arts and excelled in Karate. He attended Greater New Bethel Church with his mother as a child.
Derric enjoyed spending time with his three nephews and watching them grow-up. He would take them bike riding and to the park.
Derric worked at T-Mobile Park and Lumen Field as facility maintenance technicians. He also worked at Seattle University as a facility maintenance technician and The Boeing Company. He enjoyed working and talking to his team members at work.
Our beloved Derric, departed this earthly life on April 15, 2026, at the age of 66. He leaves to cherish her memory, his sister DeAndrea David Taylor, two nephews, Jamar Baker and Josiah Taylor, two great nephews, Elijah Dennis James Baker and Amir Dennis James Baker, all of Seattle, Washington. Two aunts, Belinda Turner and JoAnne Tyner in Sulfur Springs, Texas. He was preceded in death by mother, Ruby Lynn David, his father, Claude Nonnetta, his Step-Father, Dennis David, Jr., his grandmother Lula Mae Isom and grandfather, Clovis Isom, two uncles, Clovis Jr., and Don, and his nephew, Jaquer Patrick Elijah Baker.
He will be missed by his God Grandmother, Annie Lee Sanders, God Aunts, Brenda Wright, Elvie Lewis, Betty Sanders-Stanton and Bertha Sanders. In addition, by a host of cousins and many friends.
