Franklin Turner was born on October 3, 1956 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita Kansas to Homer and Alberta Turner.
The fourth of five children, Franklin was early on recognized for his musical gifts. Before graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1974, he had already begun to perform professionally as a drummer.

After leaving the Navy he would work various jobs in the Seattle and Sacramento areas, but never lost his passion for music. He would go on to lead several musical groups throughout the years.
Franklin will be forever remembered for his love of music and performing and as someone who loved everyone around him passionately. He was preceded in death by his Mother Alberta Turner, Father Homer Turner and his Sister Cynthia Walker.
