George Stone

George Stone was born on July 28, 1950, in Newark, New Jersey, to Robert Lee and Margaret Stone, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James and Eugene Stone, and his sisters, Ella, Mars, Michelle, Montrell, and Beatrice Stone. He was also preceded in death by his son, Lakey A. Ashford, and his daughter, Ayanna L. Ashley. He is survived by his brothers, Willie Lee and Sammy Stone of Coco Fl, & Willie Lee Stone (Ruthy Mae) of Wrens, Georgia. George was a devoted husband to his wife of 44 years, Pastor Deborah Ashford Stone. He is survived by his two sons, George Stone Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Cardel M. Ashford of Renton, Washington, and his daughter, Tracy R. Wilkins (Maurice Wilkins) of Federal Way, And a host of sister in-law's nieces, nephew's grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. George had a passion for working on cars and enjoyed BBQs with family and friends, George was also part of the magic wheels motorcycle club for many years he loved to ride. beyond fixing cars and being in the motorcycle club and having family time he was deeply dedicated to serving his community with his wife Deborah for seniors at shag properties and eagle nest outreach church. Especially through his efforts to feed the homeless, His commitment and dedication made a significant impact on many lives. his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all who knew him and loved him.
