Jeffery L. Alexander, Sr.

Jeffery Leon Alexander Sr. was born September 1,1956 to Mother Bessie Hendricks & Hollis C. Alexander. Jeff grew up in the Mount Baker area of Seattle, Washington.

He spent his working years serving communities throughout Seattle in the grocery industry. From Red Apple in the Central District and concluding at QFC. Sharing his passion for cooking with customers in the meat department where he was also a key member of the local grocery union. Jeff was married on December 5th, 1988, to Patricia D Ward. From their union came his pride and joys, Jon Tiea, Latiecia and Jeffery Jr. As a father, Jeff loved to be in the kitchen sharing his passion for cooking and barbecuing.

A true product of the 80’s. Jeff owned an extensive vinyl record collection and would break out in dance at the drop of a hat.

Jeff was also a huge Seahawks fan and rarely missed a game. A true 12th man.

He loved bowling and was a member of several local bowling leagues.

In addition to being an excellent cook, avid bowler and musical aficionado. Jeff was a dedicated family man, great friend and genuine person to those who knew him best. He only wanted the best for those around him.  He dedicated his life to building a family and was incredibly proud of the life he built.

Jeff is preceded in death by his mother Bessie Hendricks & Sister Gwenevear Ward. He leaves to cherish his memory, Wife Patricia Ward his children Jeffery, Latiecia and Tiea. eight grandchildren Nijay, Naomi, Nylah, Jeffery the 3rd, Farrah, Kaden, Journey & Elijah. Nephew Daryl Patterson & Nieces Teesha Patterson and Katherine Ward.
