John Hosley Obituary

John Alan Hosley

Surrounded by family, John Alan Hosley passed into the Arms of his Loving Savior November 13, 2021.  John’s lifetime focus centered on family, faith and friends.  His happiest moments were conversation or activities with his people and his cat KOKO.  He was an avid sports enthusiast both as participant and spectator.  He enjoyed mentoring his children, grandchildren and friends learn baseball, soccer, football, golfing and more.  He loved adventures in nature, especially when joined by grandchildren and family.  John loved to share memories of family joy, mischief and challenges.

As a successful businessman in the food industry, he collaborated with producers, vendors, and clients.  John had the gift of gab which he used to connect with friends and business associates.  He was appreciated for his interest in the individuals he encountered.  He approached life with honesty.

Sadly, John suffered a sudden severe heart attack on his daily walk.  First responders and many medical staff provided excellent care.  John was born in Klamath Falls, OR on July 28, 1955 to Ed and Mary Hosley.  Growing up he participated in baseball and football, going on to play for SOC’s football team.  John graduated SOC with a BS in Business Management.  John was the very proud father of Bradley (Jen), Kyle and Kara (Andre).  His most recent joys have been times spent with his 3 grandchildren Ian, Bailey and Sutton.  In addition to his children and grandchildren, John leaves siblings: Kathy Strilaeff, Mark Hosley, Linda Lavin and Diane Huettl along with a large group of extended family and lifetime friends.

John was the essence of love and integrity, with an open heart and passionate hugs for all.
