Josephine B. Robinson

Our beloved Mother, Josephine B. Robinson, peacefully transitioned at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 23, 2020. She was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church, were she served on the Usher Board, Security Team and a Sunday School Teacher. She owned and operated BVL Soul Food restaurant where she mentored young adults and gave back to the community. She is flying to her home of Clinton, North Carolina. Services will be held Saturday May 2, 2020 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Home 1246 Hobbton Hwy Clinton, NC 28328.
She is preceded in death by her Daughter, Bonita Boykin. She leaves to mourn her 3 sons, Danny Boykin (Clinton, NC), Harold Robinson Jr (Rockville, MD) and Frankie Robinson (Seattle, WA); 3 daughters Gina Robinson, Rhonda Robinson and Simone Robinson (all of Seattle, WA). She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Annie Steele (Clinton, NC) and Maggie Boykin (Norfolk, VA) and a host of nieces and nephews.
