Latina Smith-Sledge, born in 1971 to Kenneth Ray Smith and Carolyn Diane Smith, was a bold, loving, and unforgettable woman who brought warmth, laughter, style, and soul wherever she went. She loved music, fashion, family gatherings, and creating a home filled with love, food, and fellowship. Latina was known for her confidence, homemade cooking, and her ability to make people feel welcomed and cared for.
She worked as a CNA and medication technician and genuinely loved caring for others, especially the elderly and children. In 1992, she married Christopher Sledge, the love of her life, and together they shared 34 years of marriage while raising and blending a family of six children.
