Love Vell Fields

Love Vell Fields, 67, of Seattle Washington passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Love was born on May 14, 1952 to Reverend Gilbert B. Fields and Veola Fields In Sunflower Mississippi. Love was the youngest child.  Love graduated in 1970 from Garfield high school in Seattle Washington. Love was a painter by Trade. Love was a retired and proud Longshoreman, Local 19, of Seattle Washington and he loved the brotherhood. He was an awesome father and friend to many!  “Love Vell” which was the name used by many was preceded in death by his parents the Reverend Gilbert B. Fields and Viola Fields his two sisters May Alice Stuckey and Viola Dean and five brothers Gilbert B. Fields, Jr., Matthew Fields, Edward Fields, Virgil Fields and Willie B. Fields. He is survived by his wife Kotina of Washington and has five children Deon, Maurice, Brianna, Michaela and Virgo Fields; his brother Pastor Perry Fields, his sister Betty and Ruthie Johnson, Rosie Collins, Gracie Ryan and Narcisse Williams. Love Vell leaves behind nine grandchildren Jazzmine, Little Deon, Davianna ,Davonne, Payton, little Maurice, MeKhi, Malcom and Malik Fields and one great grandson Damien Christian Fields. Love Vell, was loved by so many and will be missed by a host of friends and family impossible to list here. Love gave his life to Christ and will be celebrating in heaven With our Lord Jesus Christ and we know he hopes to see you there!
