MICHAEL LEE HALL was born on April 13, 1946, in Seattle, Washington, to Bessie Benson. John and Ida Hall adopted him. It was an open adoption. He grew up knowing and having a relationship with his biological family. Michael went to Garfield and Franklin High Schools. After high school, he joined the Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War. In 1967, he was honorably discharged from the Military. He worked as a car salesman for 35 years then as a longshoreman until his stroke in August of 1999. Michael accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord in September of 1999. He was a member at Church at South Seattle, Pastor Emma Jones, where he was ordained as a Deacon. On November 7, 2000, he married Sheryl. They were married for over 25 years. After his marriage, he joined the Church of God Evangelistic Center under Pastor Claudell Warren. Michael enjoyed singing for the Lord and was a member of the Sanctuary Choir. During his illness and before the pandemic, Pastor Warren would visit Michael in the home.
