Michelle Marie Raine affectionately known as “Sweets’, was born on March 31, 1973 in Seattle, Washington to Eddie Raine Sr. and Audrey McDuffie.
Michelle grew up in South Seattle in a big loving family. Michelle was educated in the Public Schools of Seattle, Washington. Michelle built many relationships over her life and her close friends were more than friends; they were sisters. They shared a special bond that grew as the years went by.
Michelle was a leader and loved to cook. She attended Fare Start and became a Certified Chef. She was employed with Gramma Boy Catering and The Amazon Company.
Michelle was blessed with two beautiful daughters. She was a nurturing and loving mother. She truly loved her children and grandchildren.
Michelle loved the Lord and spoke of him often. She kept her faith alive each and every day.
Michelle was known for being a sweet caring woman with a heart of gold. She was always there to give a helping hand and would give her last to a total stranger. Michelle made it her business to make people feel comfortable and loved. She brought joy to every room she stepped foot in.
Michelle enjoyed spending quality time with her family and close friends. Creating many precious memories that will forever be in their hearts. She was a free spirited and proud woman that lived her life to the fullest. Michelle was a phenomenal woman who will be missed dearly.
On Tuesday, January 19, 2021 the lord called his precious daughter home. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer McDuffie Sr. and Pearl McDuffie; her parent, Eddie Raine, Sr. and Audrey McDuffie; her uncles, Elmer McDuffie Jr. and David McDuffie Sr.; her cousin, Celese McDuffie; and her daughter’s father, Dvonne Pickett Sr.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her children, Shevelle Sweat and Laquala Pickett; brothers , Eddie Raine Jr. (Shawna), Tony Albert, Maurice Albert Sr., Kenneth Liverman and Johnathan Esters; sisters, Irvella Albert, Tina Raine, Celena Albert, Tiana Raine and Ashley Esters; aunts, Barbara Butler (Eddie) and Cynthia McDuffie-Wright; uncle, Billy McDuffie; grandchildren, Kebba Njie Jr. and Siani Njie; nieces, ShaDonna Morris, Jaydin Salcedo-Raine, Amaiya Albert, Kaylee Albert, Nina Raine, Assata Jimerson and Analyshia Liverman; nephews, Eddie Deliz-Raine , Maurice Albert Jr., Armani Albert, Tyvon Albert, Chase Raine, Levontrez Raine, Tre’Vion Raine, Mario Williams, Antonio Williams and Jah’King Otero; first cousins, Linda Johnson (Michael), Shena McDuffie, David E. McDuffie Jr., David T. McDuffie, Donovan Wright and Dashawn Parrish; lifelong friends, Shamae Haskin, Yolanda Phillips and Kanebra McMillian and a host of other loving relatives and close friends.
