Patrick Dwayne Washington was born on September, 25th 1966 and was the first-born grandson on his mother’s side and the second-born on his father’s side. He carried the position as the eldest of 37 cousins with the utmost pride and took being a big brother to younger siblings Aaron and Shawna very serious. He was very protective and caring to all and truly embraced the title of “friend” to everyone. He found quality and equal time with all family members and friends.
During his remarkable life here on earth, he served as a public servant, working for the Urban League of Seattle and other non-profit organizations. He faithfully helped underprivileged people while ensuring health and prosperity for all beings. His selfless acts touched all that he encountered and he was especially known for his affectionate heart. He will truly be missed by all.
Patrick is survived by his parents Felton and Brenda Washington (Seattle, WA), daughters Shanita Harvell and Nicky Harvell (Salt Lake City, Utah) God children Jerae’ Johnson and Porsha Fields (Seattle, WA), brother Aaron Washington (Kimberly, Rosharon, TX), sister Shawna Gray (Houston, TX), niece Yves Butler (Patrick, Atlanta, Ga), nephew Zachary Durbin (Decatur, Ga), niece Sydni Washington (Rosharon, TX), God sisters Cassandra Beverly, Kaye Gray and Karyn Gray (Baton Rouge, LA), Tamara Lawrence (Palestine, TX), god brothers KiVon Thompson and Ryan Nelson (Seattle, WA),Zm, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins.
He reunites with grandparents Otis and Verlene Washington, Vero and Lillie Dean Bell, Uncle Billy Paul Bell, Aunt Cheryl Partman, nephew Chase Harrell, God mother Wilma Gray and many, many other family members. “To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord”
