RICHARD MURRELL

May 18, 1966 – January 4, 2024

Richard “Richie” Aaron Murrell passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 57 in Renton, Washington after a valiant fight with cancer surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Madrid, Spain, raised in Biloxi, MS, and lived his adult life in Seattle, WA. Living life on his terms, Richard was a proud Teamster. An active outdoorsman, his passions included camping, fishing, horseback riding, outdoor grilling, and his beloved cat, Alvin. He was fiercely protective of family and friends to whom he is remembered as kind, caring, and a bit stubborn.

Richard will be deeply missed by many. He is survived by his devoted life partner, Ursula; his loving mother, Dora; his father, Edward, Jr.; his sister, Tracy; and his only daughter, Atkevia.

Richard did not want a formal funeral. At his request, his body will be cremated and his ashes released over his favorite fishing lake.
