Ronald Benjamin Obituary

Ronald L. Benjamin a beloved father, grandfather, and resident of Seattle, WA passed away on October 30, 2020 at the age of 69 in Seattle WA. 

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 14, 1951, son of the late Fred and Willie Mae Benjamin. He is survived by Barbara Benjamin, his three Children Pamela Donaldson (Husband-LaMarr Donaldson), Andre Benjamin (Wife-Ambra Benjamin), and Marcus Benjamin. Siblings, Twin sister Paulette Wilson and Anna Wilkerson. Ronald is preceded in death by his brother Donald Benjamin. He is also survived by his nephew Ethan Hunt, Sister in Law Janice Carr, and lastly 7 beautiful grandchildren.

Ronald was a navy veteran who served in the Vietnam war in Japan and the Philippines. After being discharged in 1972, he re-located to Seattle, WA where he pursued the career path of becoming a licensed electrician. Ronald successfully achieved that goal and became a licensed electrician by trade through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW Local 46) in 1979. Once retired he continued to work due to his passion. 

Ronald was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan along with a deep love for music, especially in the genre of jazz. For leisure time he enjoyed playing the trumpet and flute.  He was a strong Man of God who served faithfully as a deacon in his home church in Las Vegas NV. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the amazing privilege of knowing him.
