Born to loving parents, Delores and Emmitt Thompson in Fresno, California.
She attended schools in the Fresno Unified School district, until the family moved to Seattle Washington. In Seattle, she attended Garfield High school and Seattle Central Community College, where she developed her craft in culinary arts. Afterwards she worked in medical facilities in the Seattle area as a chef.
Sandra was loved by many and had a heart of gold. She was loving, caring, and a beautiful person inside and out. You could always count on Sandra to have your back, stand up for you, and always be there in a time of need. Family was everything to her and she will truly be missed by all.
Sandra died at home of unspecified natural causes. She was preceded in death by her father Emmitt Thompson, grandfather Buster Smith, grandmother Katherine Smith, and step-son Donnie Young
She leaves behind to mourn her mother, Delores Thompson, only sister Linda Thompson, husband Leonard Young, two nieces Megan and Lauren Irvin, great niece Amarianna E. Hunter, two great nephews, Zyrique M. Thomas and Kennedy E. Irvin, brother and sister in-law Richard and Charlene Young, step-children Ronnie and Shieka Young, step-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends from California, Washington, and Texas.
