Shellie’s passion for health and wellness was a cornerstone of her life. Known for her daily juicing of fresh fruits and vegetables, she inspired many to embrace a healthy lifestyle. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to sell Noni, reflecting her commitment to well-being. Shellie loved nature, spending time in parks like Seward and Lincoln Park and on the shores of Alki, and sharing these peaceful places with loved ones during family bike rides and market days.
Creativity thrived in her home, where she encouraged her children and grandchildren to express themselves through arts and crafts. After attending cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell, she enjoyed doing Jenise’s hair. While she explored various job opportunities, she ultimately became a devoted stay-at-home mom.
Shellie loved hosting events and ensured her home was always welcoming, with space for sleepovers, race tracks, and a basketball half-court. She was the heart of her family—a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth touched everyone around her.
Though she is no longer with us, we cherish vivid memories of her juicing and joyful moments in nature. Those laughter-filled summer trips to Alki remain etched in my heart. Shellie gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams, and her unwavering support has shaped who I am today. I will forever treasure the lessons she taught me and the love we shared.
