Sheri Leffall Obituary

Sheri was born into the arms of Father, Bishop Semmie D Leffall (preceding her in death) and Mother, Altha Mae Sisk-Leffall, on Feb 4, 1965. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1983. Later receiving her certificate of completion in administrative studies. Growing up, she accepted the Lord served under her parents’ leadership at the Full Gospel Pentecostal Federated Church. Sheri was a faithful member, serving in any capacity needed even after the passing of her Father. She continued to support Mother in carrying on his legacy while balancing both church and family until her health decline. Sheri had a love for many things, one being her love for children. She spent time working at Snuggles Daycare and surrounding herself with just about every child within her reach. She was a Mother of three, two daughters, Chae’Lynn Leffall and Shakae’lah Leffall and a son, Ryan Leffall. She was an amazing “Granny-Ma” to Jordynn Leffall. Her children and grandbaby were her life and gave her the strength to fight as long as she did. Sheri loved her children, raising them to Love, Respect and Serve the Lord. Sheri had a love for people and would help anyone that came her way, whether she knew them or not. She was best known for her laughter and could make us all smile at the most serious times. If you didn’t know Sheri, by the end of your encounter, her kind and gentle spirit made you feel as if you’d known her a lifetime. She was a true and loyal friend and left countless memories to treasure. Sheri had an unmeasurable love for her family and cherished them all. She leaves precious memories with her children, Chae’Lynn Leffall, Ryan Leffall and Shakae’lah Leffall, her loving Mother, Pastor Altha Mae Leffall and Brothers, Byron Leffall, Myron Leffall and Starris Leffall, Sister Felecia Leffall-Curry (Phil), a loving Aunt to Amber Leffall and Tyrell Curry and loving Grandmother to Jordynn Leffall. Godmother Dandrella Gans and God-Sister Rena Gans, along with a host of relatives and close friends. With a grateful heart we’d like to thank Caroline Whitaker-Leffall, Dr Sheldon Goldberg, the nurses and staff at Swedish Hospital, UW Medical Center, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Housing and anyone else that cared for Sheri and supported the family during this time. Sheri will be GREATLY missed, but we rejoice in knowing she is with the Lord and we will see her again. Sheri you are now healed, Rest well in the arms of the Lord
