Steven Black Obituary

Steven Sonny Black was born June 15th, 1981, in Seattle Washington to the union of Acie Black Jr and Marilyn Black. Since the day Steven was born, he was a joy to the world and full of energy, with a smile that lit up every room. Steven was baptized at Greater Mount Baker Baptist Church in 1987 and accepted Jesus Christ at an early age.

Steven had a passion for football and basketball. He took pride in being an all-around athlete and was gifted with many talents. Steven was determined to accomplish his academic goals. In 2014, Steven earned his GED and later obtained his certifications as a Machine Operator, Landscaper, and Cement Mason. Steven was known for his funny sense of humor, good looks, and fly fashion. He had a heart of gold, full of love for everyone he came across.

Steven was a loving husband, phenomenal father, brilliant son, amazing brother, and loyal friend. Steven was called home on February 8th, 2022. He is survived by his Beautiful Mother, Marilyn Black, and her significant other Charles Daniels; His Loving Wife, Elizabeth Black; 4 incredible children, his (son) Little Steven Black; (daughter) De’Aujaneh Black; (son) Seattle Black; (son) Sydney Black and 6 siblings; Acie Black III, Terry Black, Tina Black, Traffaney Black, David Black, and Charles (Chucky) Black, (All of Seattle Washington); A total of 21 nieces and nephews, 5 five great-nieces, nephews in total. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Steven is proceeded in death by his father, Acie Black Jr., his nephew, Ti’John Murray; his Paternal Grandparents, As a Black and Arvelia Bennette; and Maternal Grandparents, Sonny Clay and Lillie Brown.

You will truly be missed. Gone but never forgotten. Forever in our hearts.
