Tenisha Talley Obituary

Tenisha Marche Talley (Burrage) was born on November 17, 1990, in Seattle, Washington to the union of Derrick and Lelisa Talley. She was the middle child of three.

Tenisha was educated in the public schools of Tukwila, Washington and while attending Showalter Middle School she began her lasting friendship and sisterhood with Amber Hodgson. Tenisha graduated from Foster High School in 2009. She was a part of the cheerleading squad and held the position of secretary on the Student Body Counsel.

Tenisha in her early youth years attended New Light Christian Church when she gave her life to the lord and was an active member of the youth ministry group C.O.D. (Coming out of the Dark).

Tenisha was employed with King County Public Health Services in the WIC division during her tenure. She was promoted to office manager where she managed three offices. She truly loved her job but most importantly she loved and took pride in helping and serving the community.

In November 2019 Tenisha married Adrian Burrage and gained an extended family.

Tenisha was known to many for her beautiful, outgoing, tenacious, and bold personality where she gained many strong friendships in which she valued very dearly.

On December 26, 2024, Tenisha gained her beautiful wings to soar high to be home with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her great-great grandmother, Sara Jane Scott; great grandmother, Marion Arline Cain; great grandfather, Mack Cain; great aunts; Cindy Gore, Kimberly Diane Talley, Stephanie Cain, Maxine Rollins; great uncles, Jerry Lee Cain, Frederick Cain Sr; cousins, Celese McDuffie, Louis Gore, Frederick Rollins Jr, and David Marshall IV.

Tenisha leaves to celebrate her life, her beloved and only son, Joe M.
