Thomas Ray Gatson was Born August 2, 1963, to the union of Tom Gatson, Jr. and Allie Mae Woods in Beaumont, TX. He was the second of four children in this union.
Thomas was raised in Texas, where he enjoyed watching all types of sports with his father. Thomas was also a participant in sports. Thomas later transition to make his home in Seattle, WA.
Thomas held many jobs in Seattle, where he encountered many acquaintances, and built many long-standing friendships.
Thomas truly enjoyed his family, which was very important to him. He loved raising his boys and attending all their events. During these events, Thomas connected with people in all places and even within his community. Thomas took pleasure in evangelism. He loved his Father in heaven, he glorifies the Father for his longevity on this earth, he loved the Word of God, and told the story of his miracle every day, every chance it was given unto him. He was a very thoughtful and caring man, who always looked out for the wellbeing of others. He developed his sickness at an early age, and it did not hinder his pursuit to continue to give or encourage and uplift others. He was a true soldier who fought Lung disease for twenty-three years. His story has reached so many throughout his time. Thomas constantly reminded his doctors, it’s not in your time, but it’s in my Fathers time, until then I’m going to do His will.
Thomas was preceded in the promotion to Glory by both of his parents: Tom Gaston, Jr. and Allie Mae Woods,
He has left to celebrate his memory, his loving siblings, Alice Marie Cuney, Ricky Gatson, Ronald DeWayne Robinson (Cyrenthia) and his loving children, Eric, Akeem Lucey, Adrianna, DaVonte Altheimer (Feliz), Sir Thomas Jackson, Raphael Jackson, Kofi Jackson, three grandchildren, and a host of family, nieces, nephews, acquaintances, and friends.
