Wayne Richard DuBois, Sr. was born August 3rd 1954, in Shreveport Louisiana to Elouise Miles and Pierce Alfonso DuBois, Sr.
At an early age the family moved to Los Angeles California where he was raised by his mother along with his 4 siblings: James, Pierce, Jr., Ricky, and his sister Gail. Wayne is preceded in death by his mother, all his siblings, except his older brother Ricky.
Wayne and his siblings grew up in “dogtown”, housing projects in West Los Angeles. Life became challenging for Wayne and his siblings when, at the age of 13 their mother died and the following year their grandmother passed away. From that point on, Wayne’s life took another direction, but through all the ups and downs and the many personal challenges, he always thrived to be better and had a most infectious smile on his face. Anyone that met Wayne knew that he was truly unforgettable.
Wayne met and married his childhood sweetheart in West Los Angeles; Annette Miller; they had 4 sons: Wayne Jr. Richard, Da’Wan and Pierce.
In 1999 Wayne met Audrey Davis-Randle who would later become his second wife and partner until the end of Wayne’s time on earth.
Wayne is preceded in death by his mother Elouise Miles and his brothers, James Robinson, Pierce DuBois, Jr., and his sister Gail DuBois.
Wayne leaves to mourn, his wife of 20 years, Audrey DuBois. Four sons: Wayne DuBois II (Sadiaa), Richard DuBois (Tara), Da’Wan DuBois (La Tanya), Pierce DuBois. One brother Ricky DuBois (Tua), 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
